Buku Pengantar Studi Islam.pdf is the best place to start your studies in Islamic Studies. This one-page PDF is an introduction to the history of Islam and its main tenets, followed by a simple definition of "Islam", and a brief description of what life was like under Islamic rule. This book offers a comprehensive view of Islam - who taught it, who practiced it, what they believed and how they lived - and also provides the reader with the opportunity to study its history, to learn about its inner workings and to understand its basic beliefs. The book is an attempt at introducing and giving a good overview of the Islamic theology and civilization. The text covers almost all principles of Islam: from the strong belief in God, angels and prophets down to the prayer, sinful actions and rules on eating food. All texts are written in simple language that would help students get acquainted with Islam. The book has many illustrations presenting monuments of ancient Muslim architecture- mosques, mausoleums etc. This book outlines the reasons why some Muslims (and some scholars) believe that Jesus (peace be upon him) was the first prophet of Islam. Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari (817-870 AD) was a renowned Sunni scholar, born in Bukhara, Bukharia. He compiled hadith (traditions of Muhammad's life and words). One of his most famous books is Sahih al-Bukhari. This book has many sub-books about Muhammad's sayings which are called hadith. It has more than one hundred sub books. Bukhari is accepted by Sunni Muslims as the most authentic book of Hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari is one of the six canonical hadith collections recognized by Sunni Muslims. At the time when Bukhari died, he had reportedly compiled 200 000 hadiths, of which only 4 000 were chosen for this book. Bukhari did not write his book based on its sequence according to when the events took place, but rather according to their level of importance in understanding Islamic law. This book was written by Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari in 9 volumes. Al-Bukhari called his work "al-Jami' al-Sahih" ("The Authentic Collection"). Sahih al-Bukhari was translated into English by Muhammad Muhsin Khan, who also added an introduction and notes which he felt were necessary to understanding the book. The translation is titled Sahih al-Bukhari: Arabic Text with English Translation and Discussions. This version is the one most widely used today. This book is written by Umar bin Abdul aziz bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud which he wrote in 16 volumes. The first volume was completed in 1286 A. H., while the last volume was completed in 1286 A.H.. It has about 100 thousand hadith present, which help explaining Islamic law . cfa1e77820
